Organizational Strategies
for Restoration
Residential Homes
The residential homes provide food, rest, and care.
Single moms and their children find their hope and
future
restored
through
a fresh start. Counseling, Bible Studies, educational
remediation, and healing will all take place at this
stage.
Teaching
The dorm will be the initial place of residence when
women first come into Homes of Hope, staying for 12-18
months.
Each woman is taught how to care for her child – including
such aspects as bonding, loving care, first aid, illness
prevention and morning and bedtime routines.
Routine
The women are taught to set up routines of personal
hygiene chores, vocations, regular time with their
children,
and academics.
Keeping women and their children
on the campus
enables us to:
- Help a single mother stabilize
her life and establish routines
- Help a solo mum correct
negative life patterns
- Help women with employment and
budgeting
- Foster skills for living on one's own
- Provide a support
system for their children and give parenting guidance
- Provide
a solid, Christian primary education for the child
enabling a positive head start.
