We are presently building a permanent compound on 40 acres of land in the Wailoku valley, Suva. This compound will eventually house 80–100 women and their children.

On campus, there will be:

RESIDENTIAL

2 Dorms
For young single moms and their children under the age of two

48 Cottages
After their stay in the dorm, mothers can ‘purchase’ their own one-bedroom cottage

At graduation, Homes of Hope will buy back the cottages, so mothers can use this capital to purchase another home

CLASSROOMS

Vocational
Used for teaching sewing, silk screening and computer skills. Provides the women with marketable job skills.

Educational Remediation
For those women who have little or no education.

Preschool & Primary School
For the children of Homes of Hope to provide a head start on their education.

For children outside Homes of Hope to provide a solid, Christian education for ages 3-11.

Employment for the mothers of Homes of Hope who are receiving training in early childhood education.

FACILITIES

Bakery
Provides employment for the women in the dorms.

Teaches responsibility, job skills and money management.

Provides Homes of Hope an income to cover its weekly running expenses.

Staff Homes
